Veneto Dandelion (ベネト＝ダンデライオン, Beneto Danderaion) is a chemical security product developer with Hermes Pharmaceuticals.

Etymology

A dandelion is a cocktail comprised of vermouth, yellow and green chartreuse and malort.

Appearance

Veneto is described as a well-built elderly man with a toupee.

Personality

Veneto's personality is largely unknown, but it can be assumed that he is corrupt, given his role with regards to the Argeiphontes and Kerukeion.

Background

In the past, Veneto was involved in the development of Argeiphontes and the cover-ups following the mass deaths following its usage. He was also the one who provided Elizabeth Schnozzle with an antidote in exchange for a small fortune.

Chronology

Veneto was present at the party held by Hermes Pharmaceuticals at Olive Garden on the fifth day of the Second Venice blockade. At the same time, a group from the 37th Mobile Maintenance Battalion comprised Quenser Barbotage, Heivia Winchell, Myonri and Evans, slipped past the blockade in order to track down the antidote and save the infected Catherine Blueangel. After learning from Elizabeth Schnozzle that Veneto had the antidote, the group crashed the party as Veneto took to the stage, the explosives sending throwing Veneto into the speech lectern and breaking his legs. Quenser then demanded the antidote from him, describing his crimes in front of the audience. Veneto tried to give Quenser a case with some different drug in syringes as a bluff, but Quenser injected him with one of them, forcing the struggling Veneto to give up the card containing the real antidote so he could get himself treated.

After confirming the antidote was genuine, the group stole his private cruiser to return to Second Venice, and later read documents in his safe concerning the experiments at breaking the ceiling of human development with the Argeiphontes, during the Dionysus's reemergence.

Skills and Abilities

Veneto's capabilities aren't fully known, but he is said to be a pioneer in the field of chemical security, tear spray and oil sticks being two areas included.
