Three years ago, Mars joined the 115th Independent Royal Guard Company, the White Bears, wanting to be able to walk in and out of the royal household despite being a commoner. However to his dismay, his very first mission was to fake his death together and hide all traces of his existence with the rest of the unit as they became Unicorn, in order to operate in secret against Dimiksy Nikolaschka and thwart his plot to assassinate Staivia Nikolaschka.[3]
