The end of the fight against the Generation 0.5 differs from the novel version. In the novel, Quenser is not injured by the collapse of the building, as he and Heivia were safe in a gap created by the building's support columns. Quenser then proceeds to blow up one of the water storage tanks of the facility with his Hand Axe, but because the facility is just a dummy created to hide the Generation 0.5, the tank is empty. However, the tank's wreckage hits an industrial water pipeline used for maintenance water cutters, which fills the area with water and conducts the electricity into the Object's dangling cable.[2]
The circumstances of the confrontation with Councilor Flide differ considerably from the novel version.[3]
